Corporate Identity Design Guidelines


Before designing a Good Corporate Identity design you have to know, what the precise definition of corporate Identity design is.
It is the design that speaks. It is the identity of your firm. A good firm needs to design a good corporate Identity design. But there is a chance that only large firms would able to afford it. The reason is that it is an expensive way of promotion. Usually small firm would not able to afford it.
For a large firm it is hard to spend time for corporate Identity design. However if you take few steps when designing at start, you can save yourself with extra effort. Also you can leave good image on your customer by designing a good brand identity.

See Competitors
Before you design, you should look upon your competitors. You need to know how good their design is. Analyze the good and strong company` s brand design.

Color
If your company` s color theme is blue you have to design blue identity. Do not choose colour that is different than corporate.

Mission statement
Analyze your mission. You should know about your target customers. You should know why you are branding? What is your mission? 

Font selection
Font selection cannot be ignored. You should select a professional and easily readable font. The font should not misunderstand people. 

Material Selection
Selection of good material can leave an excellent image on your customers. Such as good paper selection, better printing etc. 

Template design
Select a good template that better show you your image on customer. Know the standards and design the template according to that.

Following these tips is so important. Once you have designed a Corporate Identity Design you would not be able to change that again and again. So design a good brand identity at start to keep yourself away from extra effort.
