Whether you are a Web designer, Developer, Graphic Designer
or a nonprofessional computer user , browsers are something that you have to
have in your computer. Perhaps that is why windows provides you Internet
explorer (web browser) as it defaults. But the story not get end on just a
single browser (internet explorer). There is a list of browser that can provide
you same function with different way and compatibility. For a nonprofessional
user like kids or teen browser selection is just based on their own choice or
comfort. But for a professional website builder or designer it is important to
install more than one browser to check the compatibility of the site they are
going to create, so that the site would be available for its every end-user.
In this regard after selection of the browser type, the
other important thing is to select the version.
I am going to present here list of ten web browsers. Each of
them would have different way to do a similar work.
Within past few years this browser value is getting down.
However I believe that we cannot deny its value because every site must need to
compatible with this browser. After all it is windows default web browser.
This is my favourite one. I would must say that this comes
first for me. It was released in 1998. Most of websites are Firefox compatible.
When it was released it was not get popularity. But now almost every third
computer has Firefox.
This is one of Google`s product. After Firefox people prefer
to have chrome in their PC. According to
my observation youtube loads videos fast with chrome. Chrome provides many of
the toolbars for different purposes just like firefox.
Some of you have might hear the name Opera. But this is not
that popular browser I think. Usually
mobile phones are supposed to have this browser. However, the sites should make
Opera compatible.
This was an apple production. That is why usually popular
for MAC users.
This is a fastest browser.
That is one of the oldest browsers. It used same rendering
engine as Internet Explorer.
Only few people know about this browser. This is using same
rendering engine as Firefox. This is popular for heavy social web users.
That is another product of Mozilla. The good thing for this browser
is that it offers an email client also.
There are many other browsers also. But I think that for a designer or developer this is necessary to give preference to first four browsers the most.
