hundreds of options available to us. We can create our own domain blog through
Wordpress, depend on blogger, write for squidoo, and write for other platforms
like Ezine Article. For your own wordpress blog, whole domain address is yours.
For example: www.myblog.com. For other like Blogger or Squidoo you are bound to blogger additional domain addresses like: www.myblog.blogspot.com, www.squidoo.com/my-blog . Keeping your domain optimized is important.
Research for the most searched domain and keywords and choose the domain that
matches to your writing topics.
Title:
I recommend placing the title of your blog similar to
domain. Blog title is very helpful in manufacturing your blog visible in search
engines.
Theme:
Themes should be chosen according to the trend. For the
latest trends search find latest themes. Also choose the style according to your topic and eye catching color.
Advertisement:
For new bloggers this is recommended not to include
advertisement on the blog. Addition of too many advertises would make user
irritate and the blog appearance like spam. Users sometimes consider advertises
as spam and does not click on them.
Posting on Blog:
Posting on blog regularly is a requirement for new blogger.
But do not post too frequent. Google can consider your blog spam. Do not post
more than once in a day.
Post always something that is going to help your visitors.
Shout you are
blogging:
To make yourself popular in blogging you are required to
tell people that “I am a blogger Read my post”. In that case nothing can work
better than social Media networks like Facebook and Twitter. This better to
link your Blog and Social media profile.
Music and Video:
Your blog contain audio or video should not auto play.
People sitting in office and open your blog would might get embraced.
Commenting:
For better ranking do not allow spammers to comment on your
post. For wordpress bloggers there are certain plugins for saving your blog from
spammers. Along with these plugins you should keep moderator approval ON always.
Comment back on your comment. This would increase your
visits. Comment on other blogs with your genuine profile. For Squidoo and
blogger this is an excellent way to make your blog good ranking.
Subscribe:
Subscription of your blog is a way to make your blog
popular. Do subscribe yourself also. This can tell you what people would able
to see when they would click your subscription.
